TRANSEPOCHAL JEWELLERY / TIMELESS JEWELLERY

Jewellery is part of humanity since 115,000 years ago.

Jewlery and Gems has endured for thousands of years and has provided various insights into how ancient cultures worked. A connection through ages.

Through the centuries jewelry becomes a symbol of luxury and strong meaning. The first signs of established jewellery making in Ancient Egypt was around 5,000 years ago.

BYZANTINE JEWELRY DESIGN

A JEWEL IS A TREASURE OF EMOTIONS, POWER AND KNOWLEDGE.

The term jewellery or jewelry indicates both the set of techniques for working metals and noble stones to make ornaments, and the ornamental objects made in one of the five precious metals: gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium and in which at least one precious stone like diamond, ruby, sapphire, emerald, or a gem of organic origin such as coral or pearl is set.

Jewellery design is the art or profession of designing and creating jewellery.

A jewel defines who we are, a message, a union, a tradition and goes beyond the ages.

For me, keeping time and handing it down is fundamental.

PHILOSOPHY

A connection through Ages.

Transepochal Jewellery is based on the research of ancient symbolism and techniques: Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, Greek, Byzantine, Lombard, and Phoenician.

Traditionally jewels were seen as sacred and precious; however, notably beginning in the 1900s, jewellery has started to be objectified. This fashion addiction to Jewellery had change the paradigm of the deep symbolism and meaning of jewelry creations.

The term Transepochal Jewellery indicates a jewel that not follow fashion, collections or trends but a piece of art that transcends time to be an everlasting jewel.

It is based on the research of ancient symbolism and techniques: Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, Greek, Byzantine, Lombard, and Phoenician. Generally is one of a kind.

I think that this new etymology could put attention to quality and research and starts a new way of thinking about something that is more than an object or an ornament.
